航空測量概分定翼機和旋翼機，將分別用於民生和軍事用途。經定翼機攝影較低精度之正攝圖，再轉換為等高線圖之Ｔａｉｗａｎ Ｅａｒｔｈ，以供技師免費使用於民生之土木建築。經旋翼機攝影較高精度之正攝圖，再轉換為３Ｄ Ｍｅｓｈ形式之數值地形圖，於燒錄晶片插入顯示螢幕得為軍隊使用於戰爭。不論是民生或軍事，定翼機和旋翼機，應該每５年重新拍攝，以便於更新測繪資料。

Abstract
In the aerial survey, the aeroplane and autogyro can be applied on the civil and military purposes, and the two type methods has the lower and higher precisions for the contour lines and digital map of 3D mesh. The contour lines can provide the engineers to plan and design the engineering projects, and the digital map can provide the military to plan and use for the ground wars. Whatever the civil or military purposes, the aeroplane and autogyro should repeat the procedures again, and the survey data must be updated by the government.
