Theoretical Methodology of Fatigue Analysis
Abstract
According to the total times of the circulated live load or wind load, the fatigue stress range can be calculated by the relative formula or the material table, and the maximum and minimum stresses are known at the same time for the fatigue analysis. In the fatigue analysis, the dead load and earthquake load are ignored by the engineer, and the circulated live load or wind load is the adopted external force to execute the structural analysis with the factor 1.0. In the theoretical methodology, the structural analysis result is checked by the maximum and minimum stresses, and the engineer can decide whether the engineering structure is suitable or not.
