Which version of standard shall you use?

　　In order to request the minimum requirements, the people establish the standards in every professional field. However, the standard is continuing to update its content, so that it has published more than one version. When you need to choose one of them, which version of standard shall you use? My suggestion is you should use the newest version of standard.

　　Assume you prepare to do something, you should go to the governmental website to make sure whether your version is still newest version or not. And then, you can take this version as your working standard version, and you shall write it in your tendering, bidding or proposal. It's very important to follow the governmental standards, but it’s possible to follow the international standards if necessary.

　　In the real world, there are just few people who have the reading habit, and therefore they don't know whether the new version has been published or not. If the work has to find out the responsibilities, can you say "I didn’t know the new version had been published"? If you are working in specific field, you are assumed that you know the newest standard. Hence, you cannot say "I didn't know the new version had been published". I think that you must continue to update your news, so that you can deal with the newest problem.
