In the Republic 100, Taiwan has 4.860 million people are studying in the different kinds of school, and it's over a fifth of Taiwan's population. Besides, Taiwan has 11.276 million workers, and they are working for their parents and children. Both of students and workers have 16.136 million people, and it's about 69.435% for the whole Taiwan's population, 23.239 million people. The remnant 30.565% people are the infants and retired people.
After you obtain your desired degree or diploma, you are going to seek a career by your degree or diploma. Both of your major and education are the most important items for acquiring a satisfying job. For the most people, they stop studying in the age of 22 years old, and the childhood and education occupy a third of their whole life. Hence, the education becomes a leading role among all of the materials, and you hope to enter the next stage school by a fair way. Because Taiwan has richer and richer, more and more people want to adopt the application system.
In Asia, most of the countries adopt the examination system for the students; in the United States or Europe countries, the always adopt the application system for the students. Why? Most Asia countries had ever been the colonies, so that they hated the differentiated treatment in their historical impressions. However, because the United States or Europe countries, especially the capitalism states, had an honor in their history, they think the differentiated treatment can be formed or accepted if possible. Actually, many capitalism states established their national insurance system, and therefore they are not the fully capitalism states any more. Until now, the United States persists in the capitalism's spirit so as to oppose the public medical service.
What's the differentiated treatment in education? If someone live in a big city or earn much money, I can let his children study in a famous school without any examination. Besides, I may be a famous man, so that I can affect the school teachers. Do you think your children are possible to conquer his children? It's impossible, right? However, if everyone's children have to take the entrance examination, nobody shall have an advantageous position by any differentiated treatment. This is the so-called differentiated treatment what I said.
The entrance examination brings its educational market, and therefore many teachers can obtain the educational jobs in the tutoring center. Is it good? No, it's not good. I didn't join the tutoring center when I studied in the junior high school, college school, university, and graduate school. In the application system, if you don't understand something, you won't want to learn it; in the examination system, if you don't understand something, you shall be possible to learn it by some ways outside the school.
In fact, it's unfair for joining the tutoring center, but it's not necessary for everyone. What's the value of tutoring center? Its published books are valuable, and anyone can buy them without joining it if poor. Of course, the teachers of tutoring center are still very important, but I just provide the most fundamental way to achieve everyone's goal. Learning is for your ability, not just a degree. If you study in the Advanced Education System, you may learn less professional courses. After you start to work, you may have the chance to know what's the different between two kinds of students.
In the Technological and Vocational Education System, the student starts to learn the professional courses in the age of 15 years old. Until the student obtains his B.S. degree, I can earn more than 250 professional credits. In the same age, I just can earn about 85 professional credits in the Advanced Education System. Even if you are a professor, you may feel that you just understand little professional knowledge. Why do the professors always come from the Advanced Education System? The truth is that they have the better English ability to study abroad, not the professional ability. Hence, perhaps you are a Professor, but you may be not really Professional.
The educational investment is very important for everyone, and it can raise your ability. I don't mean the tutoring center, but the other ways. Although I have left the school for 8 years, I still keep reading the books without the pressure of any examination. Everybody hates the examination, but it's the fairest way to eliminate the differentiated treatment. Or, the rich man will be richer, and the poor man will be poorer. Why is the poor man poorer? The poor man cannot study in the university or obtain the scholarship to pay the expensive tuition, so that they just can earn little money. The examination is not the only way to let the poor man change their position, but also it's a fair way for everyone to get the qualification.
