In 2002, I bought the Drucker's new book, "Managing in the Next Society," and he predicted China would Crash in 10 years. However, this year has been 2013, and therefore I think Drucker may be wrong. In this book, the primary concepts are focused on the knowledge workers, and he just made a passing mention of China. I think China is an unbalanced society, and its administrative manager methods cannot follow the democratic rights and economic development.
The freedom of speech is used pressure upon by the Chinese government, and recently the Southern Weekly event just lets the people in China know the new Government of Xi Jinping and Li Keqiang won't innovate really. As everyone knows, since I failed in making a love announcement for a girl in 2002, I have started to support Marxism. In addition, I don't support Leninism and Marxism-Leninism, and so that my thinking is only focused on Marxism. I think it's possible to build a democratic Marxism society in China, and the present situation is not the only implementation result.
After I read D. Marriott & K. Lacroix's book, I deeply think the reasons why China may never be great are so low gradation, especially the Chapter 6, 10, 21 & 50. However, I don't agree all of the 50 reasons, but they just provide the western point of view. Actually, the western countries are also a little bit low gradation sometimes in the specific matters, and therefore some answers are not absolutely right or wrong. The freedom of speech is the fundamental right for the Chinese citizens, and I think all of the people should own this human right.
In W. F. Tang's book, the Chapter 4, p.67-86, talks about the media and public opinion, and I discover the Publicity Department still adopts the same measures to deal with the Southern Weekly. The Chinese public opinion is changing, and the Government must make changes for the people. In the "International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights," the Article 19 protects the freedom of speech for the people, and it has been the global worth about the fundamental human rights. The freedom of speech can promote the progress of a country, and consequently the Government won't be able to forbid it.
