網路玩家有很多小工具程式在入侵，對於浮動ＩＰ來說買幾張網路卡一次插一張，但不要一次全插在ＰＣＩ插槽以避免被抓號。若是常常抽換網路卡，不以追蹤方式來說應該找不到，算是防網路玩家的簡單方法。若是程度夠高的話，網路卡天天換照樣找的到，這是個相當技術性的問題。以追蹤模式不好找，但追蹤是最接近的方法，但換網路卡就不好找了。以官方網站來說，仍然可以採用浮動ＩＰ定址，僅僅是動態修改網址對照表，否則輸入英文網址會找不到網站。
