Title
Automation of Structural Design
Abstract
After the structural analysis has completed in the structural design software, the structural analysis result can be reviewed by the engineer to decide the expected modes, the outside column, the outside beam, the inside column, the inside beam, for examples. The structural design rules must be decides by the engineer, and the software should follow these rules to execute the structural design. Whatever the concrete or steel structures, the rebar quantity or steel section can be calculated by the software to decide the minimum requirement of the same member group, and this member group must adopt the same structural design rules to provide the design section. The software can generate the structural calculations and structural drawings, and the PDF files can be generated by the software at the same time with the covers and catalogues. Besides, the drawing frame may be imported by the software, and the structural drawings have the same drawing frame. All of the structural calculations and structural drawings follow the national standard to define the necessary engineering projects, and the professional engineers and working site managers can adopt the same national standard to communicate with the other professional staffs.
