在網路蓬勃發展的當下，電子化證書已經是不可忽視的工作，僅是給出機構應該額外提供查詢網站，而不僅是給出紙本證書和靠電話確認其真假。電子化證書應附１份圖片和１份ＰＤＦ，其圖片是以便於重製新版本ＰＤＦ以供使用。紙本證書的大小規格，應經國家統一規範格式，但不需採全球統一標準，以便於標榜證書源自外國。電子化證書不是紙本證書掃描檔，而是在電腦上直接轉出圖片和ＰＤＦ檔案，所以應該無法顯示出加蓋鋼印的特性。
